Unassigned Cards

Cards are defined by the card number, access level, and the status of the card, whether Active or Inactive. Cards can be assigned with a PIN for enabling high security.

Later, the cards are associated to the employees, visitors, and so on.

Use the Search option to search for any particular card and click the card from the resulting list to view details.

You can also click sort_2.PNG to sort the cards.

Note:

The Unassigned Cards option will appear only when a NetAXS and MPI panel is available in the site.

To add a card/range of cards

1. In the home page, select the desired site or customer. From the left pane, click Settings_icon.png. The Global page appears.

2. Under Unassigned Credentials, click Configure.

3. In the left pane, click Unassigned Cards.
The list of cards associated with the selected customer appears in the middle pane. This is applicable when there are already cards on the system. Currently with no cards, the screen displays the message You don't have any Cards and the ADD CREDENTIAL option appears.

4. Click Add_Operator_Icon.jpg.
The New Card screen appears in the right pane.

5. Under Add Card Range,

 Select Add Single Card to add a single card holder who is uniquely identified by the card.

OR

 Select Add Card Range to simultaneously add a range of cards for multiple card holders.

Note:

If you select Add Card Range, you must specify the Start Number and End Number to add bulk cards.

6. Under the Add Single Card option,

a. Enter the Card Number.

Under Permissions,

b. Select a Status.

c. Select an Access Group.

d. Click Date.PNG and then select an Activation Date.

e. Click Date00006.PNG and then select an Expiry Date.
If you do not set an expiry date, the default setting of NEVER is applicable. This indicates that the card will never expire.

7. Select the Card Type.
Optional:For Access Controllers, select the Number of Uses if you want to specify a limit to the usage of the card.

Note:

Card type is displayed only when Access permission group(s) selected in Permission group field.

You can set the limit to a maximum of 255.

8. Click SAVE.
Click SAVE and ADD ANOTHER if you want to add more than one card.

To edit a card

1. In the home page, select the desired site or customer. From the left pane, click Settings_icon00008.png. The Global page appears.

2. Under Unassigned Credentials, click Configure.

3. Select the Card that you want to modify.

4. Click edit.PNG.

5. Modify the desired details.

6. Click SAVE.

To delete a card

1. In the home page, select the desired site or customer. From the left pane, click Settings_icon00009.png. The Global page appears.

2. Under Unassigned Credentials, click Configure.

3. Select check box of the Card(s) that you want to delete.

4. Click Delete_icon.jpg.
A confirmation message appears.

5. Click YES.

To assign a card

Assign button will appear only when Permission Group and Activation date fields are filled.

Currently Assign Card feature is supported only for Cards with Maxpro Access Permission Group(s) selected.

1. In the home page, select the desired site or customer. From the left pane, click Settings_icon00011.png. The Global page appears.

2. Under Unassigned Credentials, click Configure.

3. Under Unassigned Cards, the list of cards associated with the selected customer appears.

4. Select the Card to be assigned. The selected card row is highlighted in blue.
The Permissions pane, with all the fields grayed, appears in the right pane.

Note:

When using an unassigned card for adding, the card will not work until a cardholder is assigned.

5. Click ASSIGN.
The Assign Card window appears.

Assign button will appear if the Customer has at least one custom People available.

6. To select the Credential Holders:

 Search with a name in the search bar, select from the populated list, and then click SAVE.

OR

 Select from the list of Credential Holders and then click SAVE.

 

To allocate a mobile credential (Customer to Dealer)

This option enables the customer to request the dealer for mobile credential allotment.

1. In the home page, select the desired site or customer. From the left pane, click Settings_icon00014.png. The Global page appears.

2. Under Unassigned Credentials, click Configure.

3. Click Add_Operator_Icon00015.jpg.
The New Card screen appears in the right pane.

4. From the Credential Type drop-down list, select Mobile Credential.

5. Enter the quantity of credentials (licenses) the dealer desires to allocate to the customer.

6. Click ALLOCATE.

The Confirm Allocate screen displays the total quantity of licenses chosen for allocation, customer details, and license pricing.

7. Click CONFIRM.

The total count of the allocated credential, along with the available unused license details appears on the right pane, under Mobile Credential.

Once the credential is allocated, the customer receives an e-mail.

To deallocate a mobile credential

This option enables the dealer to deallocate a mobile credential from a customer back to license pool.

1. In the home page, select the desired site or customer. From the left pane, click Settings_icon00018.png. The Global page appears.

2. Under Unassigned Credentials, click Configure.

3. Click Mobile Credential and then click DEALLOCATE.

4. In the Deallocate Mobile Credential window, select the quantity of licenses to deallocated and then click DEALLOCATE.

Note:

The deallocated licenses from the customer is moved to the mobile credential pool.

5. In the Confirm Deallocate window, review the quantity and then click YES.

The credential details appears on the right pane, under Mobile Credential.

Once the credential is deallocated, the dealer receives an e-mail.
